Carolyn Schaefer

It is with extreme sadness that we announce Carolyn Schaefer's passing yesterday. Carolyn served on the Board of NYCCG from 2006 - 2008. Carolyn founded  the Harlem Rose Garden located at  4 East 129th street, and was an enthusiastic, persevering member of the Greenthumb Summer Festival, which took place in Harlem in 2013 & 2014.

Carolyn was also an acclaimed photographer (excerpt from her facebook page below) which took place in Harlem in 2013 & 2014. A memorial service, to take place in the Harlem Rose Garden, will be announced soon.
Our prayers are with her family and friends.
