Compare these to the
2002 Memorandum of Agreement
between the NY State Attorney General and The City of New York

What you can do right now to help save and
protect our community gardens:
1.
Call 10 friends/fellow garderners and urge them to attend the Aug. 4 press conference and testify at the Aug. 10 hearing.
2.
Make your opinion heard! Register to testify at the August 10 hearing, click here to comment online, or submit written testimony (see below).
3.
Call 311 and tell them you would like to comment on the Proposed Park Rule as published in The City Record. Here are some sample statements (or of course state your own!):
"I am dissatisfied with the Proposed Park Rule, as it does not provide community gardens with the same protections as the 2002 OAG Agreement" or "Bloomberg administration: Parks Rules Must include clear protection for all Parks community gardens in good standing!" |

4.
Contact the Commissioner via email. Fill out the form and let the Parks Commissioner know that the Proposed Rule is unsatisfactory. |
