Dear Friends: Happy Summer Solstice!
Please join us this Thursday, June 21, from 6:30 to 8:30pm, for our monthly meeting of gardeners from across the city to discuss topics ranging from neighborhood issues to city-wide policies. Come tell us what's going on in your garden!
For the first time since initiating our outdoor meeting series, we are repeating ourselves, and for good reason: on our last visit to Poppa & Momma Jones' Historical Garden in East New York, turnout was strong, and many expressed interest in the possible formation of a Brooklyn arm of NYCCGC. Come join in the discussion!
This meeting continues NYCCGC's summertime tradition of taking our message of community garden unity to locations throughout the city - it's a great opportunity for all to connect with fellow gardeners and for us to hear firsthand what is affecting our gardens.
