Saturday, 1 pm
-LaPlaza Cultural on the corner of 9th St and Ave C on the South West corner is having a cleanup
-9C Garden which is also on 9th St and Avenue C on the North East corner is having a cleanup
Sunday 11am-4pm
-Campos Garden in the East Village located at 648 E 12th Street between Ave B & C - rebuilding and need volunteers
BROOKLYN
Saturday at noon
-Green Guerillas is organizing volunteers at the Boardwalk Garden, where NYCCGC had our monthly meeting in September. The garden is located at 3001-3031 W. 22nd St. in Coney Island between Surf. Ave and the boardwalk. Subways n,d,q,f to the last stop: Stillwell Ave. Walk to the Boardwalk and then west to W. 22nd (towards and past the parachute jump- next to the historic child’s building).
Saturday 10-3
-Added Value's Red Hook Community Farm volunteer day at 370 Van Brunt Street. Farm tasks will include: aerating the soil, fixing our wheel barrels, chairs and tables, cleaning tools that were submerged in salt water, taking care of our worm bins and attending to the NYCHA site!
