About Carrie McCracken TRUCE Community Garden
For more than twenty years, residents have cared for Carrie McCracken TRUCE Community Garden. Teens from the adjacent TRUCE Fitness and Nutrition Center helped to invigorate the lot as part of its nutrition education program in the early 2000s and continue to help with maintenance. The garden actively produces food and fun for people in Central Harlem. Programs occur throughout the spring, summer, and fall including tours and performances.
