Parks has filed to acquire two privately owned parcels on the site of J.D. Wilson Memorial Garden on West 122nd Street. With the Uniform Land Use Review Process (ULURP) certified, the process has formally begun. The application will now go through a series of hearings starting tonight. Track the steps online!
The first chance to seek favor for the proposal will be at the community board's Parks and Recreation Committee. Community Board 10 has been supportive in the past and we need to ask for a resolution advancing this application. Please come to the hearing tonight to show your support for this land, and stay tuned for subsequent hearings including CB10's full board meeting.
