Just in time for Spring, Gardens Rising Green Infrastructure construction phase is finally beginning!
The first contracts for soil borings and engineering analysis has been awarded to the landscape architecture firm of WeintraubDiaz. Drill rigs will be employed to open holes in sidewalks to gather soil samples to determine the acceptability of our 12 proposed bioswales sites. Representatives from WeintraubDiaz will be at this meeting to answer questions.
A contract to build out a community garden based crowd sourcing website was awarded to 3X3 Design. They will also be at this meeting to present a preliminary design of the website.
Gardens Rising is a community driven project your participation is essential.
The Gardens Rising Steering Committee has done a remarkable job of keeping this project focused they should be commended for their efforts.
