GreenThumb is about to issue the new 4-year license agreement for community gardens operating on NYC Parks land. In preparing the rights and requirements for the new term, GreenThumb is asking gardeners to respond to an online survey.
NYCCGC urges everyone to thoughtfully respond to this survey.
Our collective voices can have an impact on the new licenses. Critical issues such as buying insurance, selling from the community gardens, memberships, hours of operations, bylaws, and fundraising will be addressed in the new license.

We anticipate that the new license will be made public mid-October. Every community garden should carefully read the new license agreement before signing it.
NYCCGC intends to hold a town hall meeting to educate community gardeners when the new four-year license is officially released.
