The new licenses for community gardens are out! We are currently reviewing the new terms and will be in touch soon about how they may affect you.
As gardeners, our first interest is to gardens. Legal language can be confusing and your inclination may be to sign the license to get growing. NYCCGC will help you understand the license so that you can make an informed decision before you sign.
We are organizing a series of workshops in multiple locations to offer free legal review and advice. We strongly urge all gardeners not to sign the license until you are able attend these meetings to better understand what you are signing.
